Tia

Tia is a large, 3 year old, dark black and tan girl rescued from Sacramento pound. She is a former brood bitch, and seems happy to give up puppy-raising to take on the challenge of living the good life. She's a love first and foremost, willing to accept attention whenever it's available.

Tia does okay so far with other dogs both male and female, although she does have an alpha streak in her. Once everyone has sorted out who's who, she's a contented pack member. She has had no reaction to little dogs, cats, or even small kids so far. She's housetrained and is learning how to Sit, Stay, and Stay Off The Couch.

She stays pretty close most of the time, but only until something fun catches her eye. Tia has walked really well on a leash, though so far it has been very short distances. She lays in the back seat on car rides, so far uninterested in putting her head out of any window, she's way too classy for that.
