Shady

Shady is a 2 year old black and red medium sized female that was an unclaimed stray out of Modesto Shelter. She came into the shelter after recently having puppies. Nothing else is known of her background.

She has average energy for a 2 year old Shepherd, and is learning house manners. Her foster mother as being very well behaved and easygoing describes Shady. She has been friendly with everyone she has met thus far, and has learned to live in a home with small dogs. She is housebroken, and alarm barks appropriately, alerting to noises that are out of the ordinary.

Shady rides well in a vehicle, once she is lead in the car. She doesn't appear to have much training and will pull on the leash. Shady is looking for a home that will continue with her training and socialization, and include her in family activities. She appears she could live with a dog-savvy cat. A companion dog of similar size would be good, although not necessary.
