ScarlettScarlett Head

Scarlett is a cute 60 lb female, approximately 2 years old. She could stand to put on about 10 lbs. A stray out of a Yolo County shelter, nothing is known of her background.

She takes a little time to accept new dogs, but if the other dogs are respectful, she warms up and seems to like having another dog around. Scarlett walks very well on a leash and is great in the car. She finds great security being in a crate and needs some coaxing to get her out. She has had no accidents in the house and sleeps well through the night in her crate. When outside, this girl tends to quietly lie in one area. She will only eat in a quiet area with no distractions nearby. She is living easily with the cats in the foster home.

The longer Scarlett is around familiar surroundings the more she seems to come out and warm up to her people. Fast movements startle her, therefore a quiet home is needed. She probably would not do well with young children who tend to run around and make lots of noise. Continued patience, socialization and training will turn this girl into the best friend one could ask for.

This is a Level 2 Dog!
