SargentSargent Head

Sargent is a handsome black and tan male, 10 to 12 month of age, who is currently about 60 lbs., and will be on the smaller size for a male GSD. He was an unclaimed stray from a local area shelter, so little is known about his background.

Sargent is going through a stage where he is scared of everything until he learns that it is not scary or threatening. He gets along well with the resident dog, and every small and large dogs he has met. He is probably cat workable.

He walks great on a leash, is learning basic obedience commands such as sit, down, come etc., and is learning to be crate trained. He has a great temperament, is very easy to have in the house, and loves to cuddle with his foster mom.

Being a typical puppy, he does chew a little bit, but he is learning that chewing on anything not his own, is not acceptable. As he matures, he will grow out of this.

Sargent is a great dog and is coming out his shell more and more each day. With his good temperament, easygoing nature, and low energy, he could be a great dog for the first time GSD owner. Since he focuses more on his person than the resident dog, he could be an only dog and be perfectly content. He will make a great companion.

Continued socialization, training, and exercise are a must for Sargent.

Sargent should not go to a home with small children.

This is a Level 2 Dog
