Pierce

Pierce is a handsome Cream & Sable male weighing in at about 70lbs. He is 12 to 18 months old. Pierce came into our rescue from the Modesto Shelter, so little is known about his background. He is very affectionate and loves people. He loves to have his tummy rubbed, and will give you kisses He gets along well with the other male GSD and 3 month old female puppy in his Foster's home. He plays a little rough with the puppy, so a home with small children would not be appropriate at this point.

Pierce enjoys riding in the car, but needs to be secured, as he has figured out how to get out of the window if left down more than a couple of inches. He appears to have been an indoor dog, as he has good house manners, is housebroken, and sleeps quietly in his crate at night. He alarms barks appropriately. He walks well on a leash and knows some basic commands.

He gets a little nervous and cries out when his male foster leaves the house. He would probably due best in a home with another dog as a companion.
