An update on Nani . . . (adopted in March this yr). This past weekend I walked along with my trusty sidekicks Luke and Nani for the American Heart Association Stanislaus Heart Walk. They won the Best Dressed Dog Award for their get-ups. It's kind of hard to see in the pix but Luke is wearing a Hawaiian shirt and Nani has on a bikini top and flower necklace. They even let three of my co-workers and I trade off on walking them.

Kirk and I also took Nani out on her own adventure with us on the boat this summer. She LOVED the water and is definitely a beach babe! There's a few pix of that too:)

We're having lots of fun with this crazy girl!

Adopted 3/5/11!

Nani is a beautiful, 6 month old, black and tan female pup with lots of energy and focus. She is a good-sized, solidly-built girl, and she loves nothing more than to play ball all day long. She was an unclaimed stray from Modesto.
She is quick to learn, and is learning house manners and doing well with obedience commands. She will need a home that can give her lots of exercise, a job, and keep her mind occupied. While she gets along with other dogs at present, she will probably mature into an alpha female, so will do best in a home without another female or dominant dog.
