NalaNala Head

Nala is an adorable three year old, black and tan female with two floppy ears. She was found by a good samaritan who tried to find her owners for over a month with the microchip information listed for the dog with no luck or response.

Nala is a little unsure of new dogs at first and will try to avoid them, but once she is used to them, she does fairly well. She likes to play with other dogs one on one, but isn't comfortable playing in a large group. So far, Nala gets along with all 8 other large male and female dogs in her foster home, but she really prefers to be with her people.

The good samaritan that found her left her in the home for several hours at a time, with no destruction. In her current foster home, Nala is quiet out in a kennel for the day.

Nala is very friendly with everyone she has met thus far, and will lie down at your feet when in the house. She seems to know some basic commands, and walks on the leash pretty well. She rides nicely in the car, and sleeps quietly in a crate at night.

Nala will make a great companion for the right family that will put the time and effort in to continuing her training and socialization. Nala has shown no interest in the outdoor cat at her foster home.
