Mitzi

Mitzi is a petite girl around 11 months old. She was unclaimed from the Modesto shelter. She has the softest black and brown long plush coat and the cutest face. She is housebroken, is learning how to be in a crate, walks wonderfully on a leash, and has very nice house manners. She has gotten along with every one she has met so far, both 2 and 4 legged. She loves to romp with her foster packmates, male and female, but is just as happy lounging around the house. She shows little interest in the cat of the house. Unknown how she is around children at this time.

Mitzi came into rescue very timid. She still can be a little shy in new situations but warms quickly. She doesn't respond well to harsh correction, so soft but firm leadership is the key. She can be a little mouthy when she gets excited and still has puppy habits like relocating clothing and trash, but doesn't seem to be a big chewer. This moderate energy girl would like a house where she can just be around her people. She should be okay either as an only dog or with a medium to large playmate.
