KimmyKimmy Head

Kimmy is a charming 9-10 month old all black female. She has a very sunny disposition despite having one of the worst cases of demodex mange I have ever seen. She is recovering nicely, and certainly doesn't let it stop her from playing with the big dogs and being a curious puppy. Kimmy was an unclaimed stray from one of the local shelters, so nothing is known about her background.

Kimmy has gotten along with all of the large dogs in her foster home, and even was very respectful of the cats in a home that she visited. With proper supervision, she may be able to live in a home with cats. She likes to play with the big dogs and follow them all around. While Kimmy hasn't had any formal training, she is learning some basic commands such as sit, down, and bed. She is easy to have in the house, and with something appropriate to chew on, she will happily stay on her bed.

Kimmy rides nicely in the car, and sleeps quietly in her crate at night. She is a delight to watch as she explores and romps around. She hasn't met anyone so far that she doesn't like. She is still a little mouthy, so care would need to be taken around young children.

Kimmy would like a home that will continue her medication and baths until she is fully healed. She would also like to be included in daily activities of a family. She will thrive in a home that will continue her socialization and training. Kimmy would love to have a dog buddy, but if the right home does not have one, she would love for her person to find her play dates.
