Jodie

Jodie is a petite 7 year old black and tan female, weighing 58. She is an unclaimed stray from a local shelter, so nothing is known of her background. Upon a vet exam, we learned she has a low grade heart murmur, but she is in amazing health and is fit as a fiddle.

This girl loves to go. She is happy to follow her human around, or try to engage her foster sibling in play. Jodie is housebroken, and while she doesn't seem to have formal training, she is easy to have around the house (although she is pretty sure the sofa was meant for her). Jodie loves to go on walks, and rides well in the car. Jodie is crate trained.

Jodie gets along with the large dogs in her foster home. She tries to engage the other dogs in play. She does best with other confident male dogs. If the other dog is nervous, Jodie wants to correct their behavior and causes the nervous dog to retreat and avoid her. If she wants something from her human, she will sit in front of them and wave her front paw at them.

She is a sweet girl that loves to bury her face in your lap or roll over for a good belly rub.

No cats or other small critters.
