Jag Jag Head

Jag is a large, handsome, black and tan youngster around 10 months old, and approximately 75 pounds. He was saved from a high-kill shelter by an independent rescue, then turned over to us to place. He was turned into the shelter when he got out of his home, and killed a couple of the neighbor's goats.

Jag appears to have been an indoor dog at least on a part-time basis, so is housebroken, and is familiar with things such as stairs, hair dryers, etc. He seems to have some very basic manners, and knows Sit and Down. He settles in the house nicely in the evenings.

Jag has liked all of the dogs and people he has met so far. He even seems to be ok with the outdoor cat at his foster home, but no livestock for this young man. Being a youngster, Jag still jumps up a little, so care would need to be taken around small ones as he has no idea how big he is.

Jag likes being with his people, and needs a home where they will be dedicated to continuing his socialization and training, and where he can be included in family activities. Jag rides nicely in the car, and sleeps quietly in a crate at night. This guy would be an easy addition to most families.
