Hannah

Hannah is a gorgeous, black and red 2 year old female. She was an unclaimed stray from a Sacramento shelter, so nothing is known of her background. Hannah is a little timid at first, but warms up to people quickly and is then quite affectionate. She is good with adults and has appropriately met children of all ages out in public.

Hannah is housebroken. Her leash behavior is good, and she only requires gentle tugs to keep in line. She will sit and lay down, and is gentle when eating treats out of your hand. Hannah has gotten along with both large and small dogs in her foster homes and respects the barrier between herself and the resident cat in her current foster home. When out and about at pet-friendly stores including Home Depot and Lowes, her behavior is excellent. While first a little ambivalent about meeting new people, Hannah is warming up quickly with a lot of socialization.

Hannah rides well in the car and rides quietly, preferring to lay down in the back seat. She will wait patiently for you while you're in a store shopping. Hannah loves taking long walks and being outdoors. She would be an excellent dog to take hiking. She also enjoys curling up near you and taking a nap.

Hannah would like a family that will include her in their daily activities, and continue her socialization and training.
