Coco

Coco is a sweet 4 year old female weighing about 75 lbs. She came from a shelter in Butte County so nothing is known of her background.

Coco has a back leg that is not fully formed, but she doesn't seem to know it. She loves going for car rides, walks and getting her caretaker to engage in play, although overall she has a calm disposition. It appears she may have lived as a house dog in the past, as she likes being inside and will cry at the door when she needs to go out.

This is a very affectionate girl and is food motivated. She knows basic commands. Coco is a shadow to her human and sleeps nicely next to the bed at night. The vets office staff thought she was wonderful and the feed store owner thought she could make a good PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) canine companion. It is unknown how she will be with cats or other small dogs, but has gotten along with an Australian Shepherd while going out for a walk together.
