Banda

Banda is a 15-18 month old, 60 pound mostly black girl. She was an unclaimed stray from the Modesto area who was turned into the shelter by good citizens who found her walking down the middle of a busy road.

She is very social with both people and other dogs, but will chase cats, rabbits, and anything else that may run. She plays great with a resident Jack Russell Terrier, and has had several play dates with other small dogs. Banda does play rough, so she needs a playmate who enjoys a good game of chase and a round of wrestling afterwards. She easily jogs 3 miles on the treadmill, and then follows her foster mom on the ATV making the rounds on the ranch. Needless to say, Banda is a HIGH ENERGY dog.

Banda likes going for car rides, despite the fact she gets car sick every time she's in the car for more than 5 minutes. She knows her basic commands, but could use more formal training, especially to stimulate her mind. If bored, she will dig in the yard and chew an unattended house slipper. She is extremely quiet in her crate, where she sleeps at night, and she's quiet in the house once she's got her run in for the day. She is quick to get excited, and displays her excitement by barking non-stop.

Banda will need a very active family, who knows how to further her training and control her excited outbursts.

NO CATS, RABBITS or CRITTERS.

This is a Level 3 dog!
