America

America is an 11 month old, black and tan girl with a gorgeous coat. At about 60 pounds, this girl is lean and athletic. America was turned in to the Butte County Shelter by her owner when they couldn't give her the time she deserved.

She gets along with the male and female dogs in her foster home, although is a little unsure of being out with a large group of dogs. She is very friendly with everyone she has met thus far, and will follow her person all around the house.

America seems to know some basic commands, she has a good recall, and walks on the leash pretty well. This busy girl will require her own plastic pool. She loves to jump in, snorkel in the water, and splash as much water out of the pool as possible.

America sleeps quietly in her crate all night, and appears to be housebroken. She would like a home that will continue her socialization and obedience training, as well as provide her the exercise she needs to be an awesome companion.
