ElinorElinor Head

Elinor is an adorable 6 month old female German Shepherd mix. She came in as an unclaimed stray at a local shelter and nothing is known about her past. She is being fostered with two adult GSD's and an adult malamute.

This girl is potty trained, uses a doggy door, and sleeps well in a crate at night. She loves to go for car rides, walks around the block, and receive cuddles with her humans. Elinor also enjoys playing with toys, digging in the back yard with her house mates, and playing fetch.

Elinor is very spunky. She would be best placed with a stable mentor dog to help show her the difference between good and bad play. She gets spun up when passing by dogs running the fence and may redirect. This little girl does not know her size and will challenge other dogs without hesitation if they are reactive. She needs to be placed with a strong leader that will continue her training and not allow her bad behavior to continue.

A DNA test was perfomed on Elinor. Her results are German Shepherd (50%), Australian Shepherd (33%), and Border Collie (17%). Although she is a mix, this girl is 100% adorable.

Cats and small critters unknown.

This is a Level 4 Dog. Please be sure you understand what a dog of this Level requires.
