Mikey MikeMikey Mike Head

Mikey Mike is a year old all black male weighing 65-70 lbs. He was a stray from a local shelter, so we have no background information on him. He was brought to the shelter in February with a broken right femur. He was lucky to be accepted for surgery at UC Davis and his leg was repaired on 3/11/2020. Despite his injured leg, Mikey Mike can be very bouncy and loves to play.

He's a lovable boy who enjoys hanging out with the other dogs, sometimes more than his people. He really seems to enjoy cats and tries (gently) to play with them. He tends to get very antsy when he's hungry. He does go for walks, however, at this time he does not like being on the street or around cars and becomes very anxious. With time and patience, he can be accustomed to the fast paced world again. He has great house manners, sleeps well in a crate and easy to have around. He's a very laid back boy who goes with the flow without any complaints.

Still young, he likes to nibble gently on toes and pant legs. Mikey would do best with other large playful dogs or an active family to play with.

This is a Level 2 Dog.
