EnyaEnya Head

Enya joined the GCGSR family in September of 2020. She was pulled from a Central Valley shelter as an unclaimed stray and little is known about her background. Enya is red & black, weights roughly 55 lbs, and is estimated to be around 4 years old.

She is a very loving girl that would love nothing other to have her ears scratched. Enya is crate trained and is very well mannered in a kennel. She is currently being fostered with 3 large German Shepherds, a Malamute mix, and 2 cats. Enya was a quick introduction to the pack and has ignored the cats from day 1. She is a medium energy girl and loves going on walks around the block or through the mountainous hills. She walks well on a leash and will benefit from continued socialization. Enya uses a doggy door when available, but sometimes has a small accident in the house. She does well on car rides and does not get sick on the windy curves. While in the car she is a little nervous to begin with but settles down nicely.

When Enya entered the GCGSR family she had a large mass under her belly. She was quickly taken into the vet for a mastectomy and a spay. She has recovered nicely and is back to running around freely.

Enya is starting to play fetch and enjoys chewing on bones / toys in the living room. She is very eager to please her person and will lay loyally by your side.

This is a Level 2 Dog.
