CoyCoy Head

Coy is a handsome black and tan, three-year-old male German Shepherd with a dash of white on his chest. He weighs 65 pounds but can stand to put on a little weight. He was a stray from a local shelter so nothing is known of his past.

Coy is currently very nervous and hides a lot. It takes awhile for him to feel comfortable with new people, places and cars. He does bark however when someone is on your doorstep. So far he has shown low energy.

He currently sleeps quietly at night in his fosters bedroom in a crate. He is living with a large female German Shepherd in his foster home and he plays well with her. To help him learn and gain confidence, it is recommended he go to home with another confident dog that he connects with.

He does not play with your belongings and is showing nice house manners. Coy is house trained if you keep him in the same room as you and he has access to the yard. When he had full range in his foster home but didn't have access to the yard, he has had a few accidents. He knows a few basic commands, but obedience training and socialization is recommended to help the bonding process and his confidence. He has a good appetite, is food motivated and loves belly rubs. Because Coy is still timid, he will thrive best in a calm, loving home with an understanding and patient human.

Cats and small critters unknown.

This is a Level 2 Dog.
