HavanaHavana Head

Havana is an adorable 18 month old, all white female long coat weighing about 60 lbs. She was surrendered to a shelter along with her sister Spark and possible sire Judah when the original owner lost his home. The previous owner indicates Havana had been an outdoor only dog. It is obvious that Havana has had at least one litter of puppies in the past.

This is one sweet girl who walks well on a leash and craves human attention. She goes easily into a big plastic airline-style crate at night, but does not like the metal style crate. She is learning house manners and the sit command. Havana is not food motivated, so praise and affection work best in teaching her new things. She gets along well with the other dogs in the foster home that range from medium to large in size.

Havana can be a little timid when a hand raises over her head and she does not like to go outside unless the human goes with her. She doesn't like being out alone and will bolt out the open gate if given a chance. She is learning to leave the cats alone. Continued socialization, exercise and training will make Havana into the best companion dog.

This is a Level 2 Dog.
