TrexTrex Head

Trex is a moderately large, male bicolor German Shepherd, approximately 3 years old and weighing about 80 pounds. He was an unclaimed stray out of the Sacramento area.

Trex is housebroken, crate-trained, and well-mannered. He has a very easy-going personality with people, and loves to meet, greet and lick anyone and has been good with people of all sizes so far. He is a very affectionate dog, and will happily curl up at your feet if you're reading a book, working at a computer or watching TV.

Trex is easy to walk, and walks with a bouncy step. He's very quiet and neither barks nor whines excessively. He will respect a child gate, so parts of the house can be easily closed off to him. He might be able to live with a cat if properly supervised.

He does not dig or jump fences; however if let outside off leash he will wander off. He comes back when called. He rides easily and happily in a car, and is well behaved in public places like Lowes or Home Depot.

Trex is calm in the house, but has a lot of energy and would do best in an active household. After proper introductions, Trex gets along with the respectful male and female dogs in his foster home.  He doesn't engage in much play with the other dogs, and doesn't care for other dogs in his face (and will tell them so). Trex would be fine as an only dog, or with a female for company.

This is a Level 2 Dog
