Simone

Simone is medium size girl around 2 years old. She was an unclaimed stray out of the Modesto area. She came to the rescue having recently had a litter of puppies. She was also very timid and submissive. Simone didn't seem to have any house exposure either. Since she has been in her foster home, she has become quite the house princess. She is house broken and stays in a crate during the day when her foster parents are away. She prefers to sleep quietly on a blanket next to her people at night.

Simone gets along well with the resident male GSDs in her foster home and is very good with the puppies that are fostering with her (not hers). She likes to play, but not too rough. She is still learning how to walk on a leash and needs more work. She is also learning basic comands. SIT and STAY are still optional to her. She rides well in the car. She is quite happy to just lay around close to her people. Simone is actually a little fearful of the resident cat and would rather have nothing to with it. Although she has become settled into her foster home, she still gets nervous and jumpy around loud noises and sudden harsh movements.

Simone would be best in a quiet to moderately active home with another dog to pal around with and where see can be near and cuddle with her people.

NO SMALL DOGS.
