Ramona

Ramona is a very sweet 10-12 month old sable female with adorable airplane ears. She was an unclaimed stray from the Sacramento area so nothing is known about her background.

Every day is an adventure for Ramona, she is always enthusiastic to see what there is to see. She adjusts fairly well to new situations and is learning house manners. After proper introductions, Ramona gets along with most of the dogs she has met. Currently at her foster home, she lives with 2 dog savvy cats and she gets along great with the resident male GSD. She does chase running cats but, corrects nicely (she seems to know that she is not supposed to chase them but, being so young she can't resist). She loves to go on car rides, and goes to sleep right away in her crate at night.

Ramona knows some basic commands and walks nicely on a leash. Foster mom believes she was taught to give hugs and kisses and breaking her of the jumping habit is proving to be challenging. Ramona is a very smart girl who is eager to learn and please!

Ramona is a very affectionate girl who loves to be near her people. With strict supervision Ramona could be in a home with dog savvy cats, but would be happier without them. Ramona will be a great dog with continued socialization and training.
