OlgaOlga Head

Olga is a 12-18 month old, beautiful black and tan female, weighing in at about 65 lbs.  She was turned in to a Sacramento Area Shelter by her owner when they no longer had room for her.

In her previous life, Olga was an outdoor only dog, on a cable/chain, but she has decided that indoor life in her foster home is quite nice.  She seems to understand that her business is done outside, and has not had one accident in the house.  She is learning quickly about indoor things such as stairs, hairdryers, toilets flushing, showers running, and is taking it all in stride.

She is a little unsure of coming when she is called and a hand reaching out to her, but she is improving in that area as well.

Olga wasn't really sure how to play with other dogs when she got to her foster home, but is learning quickly, and plays with all the other dogs appropriately. Olga is good at settling in the house, and sleeping quietly in her crate at night.  She did great walking next to the cart on her first trip to Home Depot  This girl takes it all in and tries very hard to do what is expected of her.

Olga needs a home that is willing to continue her socialization.  While she doesn't have formal training, she is quickly learning sit and down, and will be an easy girl to train.  She also does require a plastic pool to play in.   She has moderate interest in the outdoor cat in her foster home, and may with careful supervision be able to live with a cat.

This is a Level 2 Dog
