KoaKoa Head

Koa is a 12-18 month old handsome black and tan male. On the smaller side Koa is a compact dog at 60-65 lbs, but don't let his size fool you, he still likes to run and play with the big boys. Koa was an unclaimed stray so nothing is known about his background. He rides nicely in the car, being a very quiet observer of the world going by outside the window. While he doesn't seem to have much leash training, he doesn't pull much and it is pretty easy to get him to heal.

Koa seems to have some familiarity with the house. He seems to understand stairs, slippery floors, hairdryers, toilets, etc. It is unknown if he is fully housebroken. Koa is learning to sleep quietly in a crate at night, he fusses for a while, but then will settle in. Once he is in a routine, he should settle much faster and understand what is expected of him.

Koa has gotten along with the resident males and females in his foster home, but did get a little huffy with an intact male, so Koa should probably go to a home with another female dog.

Koa is looking for a home that will continue his socialization and training and where he can be apart of the family.
