Keegan

Keegan is a White Shepherd approximately 18 months old. He is tall and is strikingly handsome. He was surrendered by his previous owner who said he had separation anxiety and the owner was unwilling to take suggestions to try to overcome the problem. In the current foster home, Keegan has settled in nicely with three other German Shepherds and four cats. He enjoys playing with one of the dogs and will try to get the cats to play, but is no threat to them. When inside, Keegan needs to be reminded to settle down, as he still has puppy energy and can be a bit bouncy.

Shy to newcomers, Keegan is very affectionate once he knows you. He alarm barks and knows basic commands, although continued training would be beneficial. He rides well in the car and is housebroken. Without the use of a crate, Keegan is sleeping through the night. Keegan would do best in a home with a dog companion to keep him occupied and from wanting to escape when left outside.
