Jude

Jude is a sweet black and tan male, around 3 years old and medium-sized at around 75 pounds. He was an unclaimed stray out of the Merced shelter so we know nothing about his background. He appears to be a very nice, easy boy who would easily adapt to almost any kind of home.

This lovable lug doesn't seem to know much yet by way of obedience, but he corrects well and is quite people-oriented. So far he has been very calm and quiet, settles easily in the home and rides nicely in the car. He is a softer guy who wilts under a correction, and can be initially timid in unfamiliar situations or environments, but does warm up quickly.

He has met other dogs, small children, and cats without issue and could probably live in a home with any of the above with the proper supervision. He seems to be housetrained, he's crate-trained, so far low energy and settles down nicely. He's very affectionate and loves parading around with his toys, with his tail carried high up over his back when pleased with himself.
