HudsonHudson Head

Hudson is a 10-11 month old male weighing about 68 lbs. He was adopted out of a Roseville area shelter twice and returned both times for having too much energy and chewing on things.

Hudson is living in a home with three German Shepherds. He took a little while to warm up to them, but the young female has become his best friend and playmate. He also has been good with cats. He doesn't know his own size and since he plays rough, he would be best in a home with only larger dogs. If left unsupervised, Hudson will find ways to amuse himself by digging or finding something he can chew up.

Inside, Hudson will settle down and lie at your feet. He doesn't seem to mind if the other dog lies next to him or on top of him. He will try to put anything within reach in his mouth, so good supervision and appropriate toys for him are a must.

Hudson seems to know some basic commands and walks nicely on a leash. He hasn't had any accidents in the house, so seems housebroken. He is a good eater and is learning to sit and wait for his food. He'll sleep through the night in a crate and get into a crate for a car ride.

Hudson needs a home that will include him in their activities, preferably with another dog to play with. He'll also need regular exercise and obedience classes. Frequent belly rubs are a must too. If you're looking for a fun, affectionate, young German Shepherd that thinks he's a little puppy, this could be the one for you.
