GraniteGranite Head

Granite is a large, handsome sable male around 2-3 years old who weighs in at about 80-85 pounds. His underbite makes his lip catch on his canine, so he always looks like he is smiling. That and his rounded ears make him just the most adorable guy ever! Granite was an unclaimed stray from a Sacramento area shelter, so nothing is known about his background.

Granite has gotten along with every person or large dog he has met so far, interacting nicely with both the male and female dogs in his foster home. He wants no part of trouble, and does his best to avoid any altercations or rowdy situations.

Granite is easy to have in the house, and while he doesn't seem to have much of any training, so far seems housebroken, and settles in nicely in the evenings. He loves riding in the car and behaves very well on rides. He crates easily at night and is quiet in his kennel during the day. He is easy to walk on leash.

Granite seems to appreciate being with his people, and needs a home where he will be included in daily activities, and where someone will continue his socialization and training.

This is a Level 2 Dog
