Augie

Augie is a handsome classic black and tan male, who is about a year old. He weighs in around 70 lbs and has distinctive black markings on his tongue. He was an unclaimed stray out of an area shelter, so nothing is known of his background.

Augie has a fair amount of energy and drive and came with absolutely no obedience training, manners or boundaries. He has quickly learned sit, down, heel and is house trained but still needs ongoing reinforcement. He is crate trained and sleeps quietly all night in either a crate or on the bedroom floor.

Augie is still a little bit puppy and curious about everything, but is growing into a confident adult. He needs an experienced owner who can keep him active and enforce rules and boundaries. He is good with older kids but maybe a little too rambunctious for younger children. He gets along with other respectful dogs but gets a little excited with small critters.
