Midas

Midas is a handsome 18-24 month-old male shepherd that weighs in at about 80 pounds. As his name would indicate he is golden in color. Midas is a happy and playful dog that is eager to please. He can be a bit cautious when encountering new situations and people but warms up very quickly if given the opportunity.

Midas is housebroken with the use of a dog door and exhibits nice manners inside. He sleeps nicely in a crate in his foster mom's room each night. Midas doesn't recognize he is a large dog and given them chance he would happily cuddle up right next to his person.

Midas enjoys getting out in the world for car rides or walks. Due to his size, he can push or pull on a walk for a bit, but a corrective collar helps him settle and walk nicely with others.

Midas loves the other large male and female dogs in his foster home. He would love doggie playmate in his permanent home, and a family that would include him in everyday activities. With continued training and socialization, he will make a great addition to a lucky family.
