Bogie

Bogie is a handsome Red/Black boy who is around 3 years old. He weighs just over 80lbs, but needs to gain a few pounds to be at an ideal weight. He is a big boy and can be exuberant, sometimes not realizing his size, but he is learning manners and not to jump on his human when excited. He is very affectionate, and is a "leaner", but sometimes he needs to be reminded that he cannot always be the center of attention.

Bogie gets along well with the other 3 resident German Shepherds of various ages, and is also living with GCGSR pup Gibson. He also shares his foster home with cats, so he may be able to live with dog savvy cats - he is interested in them, but is learning to leave them alone.

Bogie will sleep quietly in a crate at night, and even pops into the crate during the day to nap. He can also be trusted to sleep free in the house, but you may wake up with him sharing your pillow. He is potty trained with use of a doggie door.

This guy is just an all-around great dog. He loves to ride in the car and go places with his human. He walks nicely on a loose leash, and loves to visit Home Depot and pet-friendly restaurants with this human. His stunning appearance and sweet nature attract attention wherever he goes, and he charms people he meets by offering his paw in introduction. He would love to join a family who will continue his training and socialization so that he can enjoy his best life.
