Percy

Percy is a sleek black 18-24 month old male. He weighs about 60-65lbs, so is a great size. He was an unclaimed stray from a local area shelter so nothing is known about his background.

Percy is an energetic boy who loves to play with the other dogs in his foster home. He does not pester the older dogs in the home who do not want to play with him. Percy is housebroken and sleeps quietly in his crate at night. While his foster humans are at work, Percy has indoor/outdoor access and successfully stays with a couple other dogs from his foster home.

This boy loves to go on walks, he gets a quite excited when he sees other dogs. Keeping him on a heel and a couple quick corrections will limit his whining. When Percy first got to his foster home he didn't want other dogs to come near the group water bowl when he was in the vicinity. With a little time, Percy now will drink out of the bowl with other dogs.

Percy is a smart dog who learns new things very quickly. He loves his humans as well as his foster pack. He would love a home that will include him in daily activities as well as continue his socialization and training. With a little time and effort, Percy will be a great family member.
