Brewski is a handsome Black and Tan 70 lb. male, approximately 1.5 years old. He was surrendered to a local animal shelter with no details of his past.
He is an energetic happy boy who does well meeting new people. Brewski plays well with other large dogs but can be a little rambunctious. He still has a puppy spirit and needs plenty of exercise. He is currently living in a foster home with 2 males and 1 female dog and loves to play. He is housebroken but may need some minor coaching upon arriving in a new environment. Brewski rides well in the car, and is learning the 'go potty' command with a treat reward. He knows basic commands and is food motivated. Brew will sit when told to before going in or out of the front door for his walks. He also been taught to sit, look at you, and wait before eating his dinner. He enjoys having plenty of Nylabones around to chew.
Brew would do best in a home with another dog who enjoys playing, and/or with someone who will be with him most of the time. A home with another playful dog would be ideal. He just wants to be with his people or another dog and does not enjoy being left alone. Brewski could be in a crate at night, and prefers to sleep in the same room as his human, but has done well sleeping in another room next to with his foster siblings. This handsome young man would love to be adopted by a gentle confident person who can continue to help him learn structure and rules. He may be able to be around cats but has shown some prey drive. Lots of new experiences and obedience training are recommended as well to help him gain confidence and be the best he can be. Great dog that someone will be lucky to adopt!
Cats and small critters unknown.
This is a Level 2 Dog.
