LeamLeam Head

Leam is a gorgeous 3 year old male German Shepherd that weighs approximately 90 pounds. He is from a local area shelter, so little is known of his background.

He has nice house manners, is house and crate trained and knows most of the basic commands. He is trained to sit and stay before going through the front door and before eating until you give the ok. He has medium energy with a good appetite and is a good alarm barker but only when it's warranted. He loves car rides and jumps into an SUV with great enthusiasm. He walks nicely on a leash, only pulling some when he sees small critters.

He adjusted quite fast into his foster home, immediately playing with the female German Shepherd there and with toys. He currently sleeps quietly in his Foster's bedroom at night.

He is the alpha dog in the foster home that he's in, but is only possessive of his beloved squeaky balls. He likes to chase the tennis ball and is lightning fast doing so. He's very food motivated he will even eat watermelon skin and raw kale, and there's no problem giving him a pill if you hide it in his food. He is an alarm barker but he only barks when it appears warranted. Since this is such a large strong dog, obedience training is recommended to make sure he sees you as the leader.

Cats and small critters unknown.

This is a Level 3 Dog. Please be sure you understand what a dog of this Level requires.
