Wasabi

Wasabi is approximately 4 years old and a stunning bi-color male German Shepherd. He is from a local shelter so nothing is known of his background. He is a large framed dog, but he only weighs around 70 pounds and could stand to gain some weight, but luckily he has a great appetite. Wasabi prefers a big soft and fluffy bed because this boy is a bit bony at the moment.

Wasabi has low to moderate energy, is affectionate (but not overly so), likes to be pet, and occasionally gives a very tiny lick on your hand. He likes to play with stuffed animals and squeaky toys. This mellow guy heals nicely and sits well for treats. Wasabi likes to be brushed and told what a good boy he is. He appears housebroken and has nice house manners, not jumping on people or furniture and does well in the car. He meets strangers well on walks.

He sleeps very quietly in his fosters bedroom in a crate at night. He currently lives with one large dominant female German Shepherd. He does not appreciate her trying to eat out of his bowl, but otherwise he's been generally very submissive toward her and he tries to play with her. Wasabi would benefit from a home willing to continue his exercise, and take him to training as a good way to bond with him.
