Trinity LynnTrinity Lynn Head

Trinity Lynn is a cute black and tan 9 month old female who weighs about 50 lbs. She was a stray from a local shelter so we have no background information on her.

This girl is housebroken and uses a doggy door. She knows the sit command and is pretty good with the "leave it" command. She is learning house manners but is having a tough time with the off command, will jump on people in excitement and is still very mouthy. For these reasons, she should not go into a home with young children or with people unstable on their feet.

Trinity Lynn pesters other dogs to play but submits if corrected by an adult dog, until the next time she has a chance to pester them. Tiring her out with a good walk and throwing the ball for her to chase helps calm her. She is getting better at returning the ball and is learning the drop it command. Trinity also likes to play with water if you have a hose out. If the ball drops in water, she has no problem dunking her head in to get it.

She appears to be a good candidate for agility, tracking or fly ball, as she is smart and has lots of stamina. When on a walk, Trinity picks up sticks, bark, leaves or whatever catches her eye to put in her mouth. Having lots of toys and nylabones is a necessity for this young dog to keep her mouth occupied.

If Trinity doesn't get her way, she appears to bark at you in protest. She is food motivated and responds well with food rewards. Consistent boundaries and exercise are a must with this girl. She already walks fairly well on leash and is good in the car. If you are looking for a smart, high energy young dog, she might be right for you.

This is a Level 3 Dog. Please be sure you understand what a dog of this Level requires.
