NoriNori Head

Nori is a very handsome 12-18 month black long coat male (potentially some Belgian Sheepdog in his genes). He came to us from a local shelter so nothing is known about his background. This happy boy has a high level of energy and loves to play play play. He has learned he loves the inside life and wants to be with his favorite people.

Nori is housebroken with the use of a dog door. He is learning basic commands and how to walk nicely on a leash. He knows he is supposed to sit before being fed but he is reluctant to stop moving long enough to sit still sometimes. Nori is still a young boy who picks up and chews most things he can find. He can often be redirected to an appropriate, dog-approved toy but beware, shoes are still the most exciting item for him.

Nori will need an experienced owner to keep ahead of this sharp little boy, and will need someone who will exercise his brain as well as his body. He seems to always be in motion and will need a job that will make use of his energy and intelligence. Nori has an intense desire to be with his people, and will follow you around even if it means jumping a 4 foot baby gate that is supposed to restrict is access to the house.

While Nori is not a big fan of the crate during the day, he will settle in for the night and sleep in a crate if his family is going to sleep too.

An active family that will keep him moving and bring him along for activities would be his ideal match. We think he would excel in a dog sport such as agility, flyball, obedience, rally, etc. He would do well with another young playful dog to help keep him entertained. He spent one night with a cat and did well so he may be able to live with dog savvy cats.

This boy is a diamond in the ruff, and will be an amazing companion to an experienced owner who can meet this boy's training and exercise needs.

This young boy is still mouthy when he gets too excited so we recommend no young children.

This is a Level 3 Dog. Please be sure you understand what a dog of this Level requires.
