DuChemin

DuChemin is approximately a 3-year-old, male black and tan shepherd. He was abandoned in a dog park so nothing is known of his background.

DuChemin is a very sweet and mellow boy. He has good house manners-uses a doggy door and has not had a single accident. He sleeps well in a crate for a few hours while his foster mom is at work but would probably be fine without the crate. At night he sleeps quietly on a dog bed in the master bedroom. With 'proper' introductions, DuChemin get along well with other dogs and is currently living with 2 large males and a bossy female in his foster home. He doesn't interact much with his foster siblings so he would most likely be fine as an only dog or with another mellow companion.

He ignores the 2 cats. He is great in the car, walks nicely on a leash. He is happiest following his foster mom around or laying at her feet. He loves to have his ears and his head rubbed and his face kissed. He's a little overweight but has lost a few pounds since being in his foster home and is looking might shiny and less fluffy.

DuChemin is an easy dog to have in the house and will be a very sweet and loyal family member.
