Whisper

Whisper is a 12-18 month, old classic beauty with a plush coat, gorgeous deep gold eyes, and black beauty marks on her cheeks. Weighing in at about 66 pounds she is a slender, medium-sized girl. She was an unclaimed stray from Modesto.
 
She gets along with the other two dogs in her foster home and often plays all day long with the younger one. She has taken over the job of patrolling the fence from the resident dog and does an appropriate job of guarding without overdoing it. She is beautiful to watch as she seems to glide effortlessly along the fence line, and she is athletic enough to jump over short fences, she'll definitely need a six-foot fence. She has very high prey drive and will chase cats and small critters.
 
Whisper doesn't appear to have had any training. She is learning not to jump up with excitement, and how to walk on a leash. She has learned to Sit before she gets fed. She has a lot of energy, and needs training and a home that can spend time with her and give her a job to do, possibly agility. Whisper seems to be the perfect name for her because she runs around the yard as fast as can be and when you turn your head to watch her, she is gone like a Whisper.

Adoption Fee on this dog is $300.
We require a home visit by one of our volunteers.
We adopt to the North Bay, Greater Sacramento area, Central Valley down to Merced, and parts of the East Bay, resources permitting. Regrettably, we are unable to return phone calls from outside those areas.
