Vala

Vala is an AKC registered female, 14 months old, German Show lines, high energy, red & black. She was given up because she had a skin infection that the owners didn't want to treat. She has had 2 baths with a round of antibiotics, her skin is healed and the hair is growing back.
 
Vala has had no formal training, she was left in the back yard with not much human interaction. She is a very sweet, intelligent, exuberant girl who needs to have an owner who appreciates all that she has to offer. This girl has lots of potential in the right hands. She was tested this week for a detection dog but lacked the over-the-top, crazy ball drive they require. She has good focus and drive, but she's a little too mild for a working dog. She would make a fantastic Agility, Rally or Obedience dog. 

Adoption Fee on this dog is $300.
We require a home visit by one of our volunteers.
We adopt to the North Bay, Greater Sacramento area, Central Valley down to Merced, and parts of the East Bay, resources permitting. Regrettably, we are unable to return phone calls from outside those areas.
