Tootsie is a gorgeous, very sweet, 2 year old sable girl who LOVES to play fetch. She will fetch anything and everything. Her love of playing fetch lead us to having her evaluated as a potential service dog by Luther Evans. Luther liked her very much, but for his particular client she is too small.
She weighs about 65 lbs, is house broken, crate trained, and has a good basic manners. As with all of our dogs, it is recommended that she go through a formal obedience class as a refresher for her as well as to enhance the bonding that takes place between dog and owner when they learn together.
We can’t say that Tootsie is cat safe, but she does not seem to have extremely high prey drive and with proper training and management she may be able to live peacefully with cats.
