SerafinaSarafina Head

Serafina is about 5 months old and is a Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix. She was surrendered with her brother, Frederick, when the woman who bred their mother couldn't find homes for the two pups and wasn't able to take good care of them. Serafina is confident, smart and independent and does fine with the other two German Shepherds and cats in her current foster home. She is sleeping quietly through the night in a crate and we're working on housebreaking her and teaching her house manners. When fed, she will already sit and is working on "wait" before eating. She likes to grab things to carry around and must have several chew toys to redirect her from items that are not acceptable for her to chew up. Serafina is also affectionate and likes to crawl up into your lap if you let her.

Serafina likes to go into the kiddie pool to cool off her feet and drinks out of it at the same time (very efficient). She has been quiet while outside and inside. She settles quickly inside, but has not been given a lot of leeway to run throughout the house at this point. This girl has lots of busy, puppy energy and typical of a Malinois will randomly chatter her teeth.

Serafina would do well in a home with another dog and an active family dedicated to training and giving her ways to direct her energy. This could be a good obstacle course dog.

This is a Level 3 Dog. Please be sure you understand what a dog of this Level requires.
