Roscoe is a big sweet boy, although large in size, is very energetic and loves to chase his tennis ball. Roscoe has very nice manners around the house, very gentle when dealing with people of all sizes and ages.
Roscoe lets you know when he needs to go out by waiting next to the back door, or giving you a gentle tap with his nose if you are sleeping. He gets along very well with his younger foster GSD brother and sister. He is courteous when meeting strange dogs, male or female, large or small.
Roscoe still needs some leash work but he is getting better. Unknown how he is with cats but if they run he will probably chase them. He is a typical large male shepherd who needs to be in a home that will provide proper leadership, set rules, boundaries, and limitations, because he gets excited when it's time to walk, eat , and go for rides in the truck. He has learned to gently take treats, and to sit and wait patiently for his food during feeding time. Although he is cuddly he is not clingy.
Roscoe needs a home with someone home most of the time. He gets bored and frustrated if he's left home by himself too much.
