RachelRachel Head

Rachel is a 1-2 year old long coat petite female who had recently had pups. She was found by a good samaritan, who took care of her and the pups until the pups were weaned. The pups were surrendered to another rescue, and Rachel came into German Shepherd Rescue. She has since been spayed and is now looking for her forever home.

Rachel is very friendly to everyone she has met thus far, is currently living with 8 other large dogs in her foster home. With proper introduction and supervision, she might be able to live with a cat. Rachel does not have a lot of training, but appears to be housebroken, and is very interested in being close to her person. She is currently living on a small farm that does not have a securely fenced yard, and she stays close to the house when left outside.

Rachel is a little and unsure of new things, and will lick you out of nervousness. She has a good recall, but may keep her distance from you if she thinks she is in trouble. She rides great in a car, and walks very nicely on leash.

An active family that would continue her socialization and exposure to the world would be an ideal fit for this girl.

This is a Level 2 Dog
