Moonshine is a lovely young lady, 2 years old, mostly black with a dusting of gold on her lower legs. She's cute, friendly and athletic, medium-sized at around 70 pounds. She was given up with her litter-sister to the pound when her owners had to move.
Now that she no longer has her sister to boss around, Moony has settled into an outgoing, affectionate, and obedient young lady in her foster home. She's housebroken, well-mannered in the house, and will happily go along with the program once she knows what's wanted. She knows Sit, Wait, most of the usual household manners, and walks nicely on a leash. She responds very well to verbal corrections.
She likes people of all ages and sizes, and most dogs she's met so far. She gets along well with other dogs and she loves to play with other playful young dogs. She will occasionally try to reclaim dogbones from another dog after she's walked away, but will stop immediately when reminded that it's not acceptable.
Moonshine is very happy to stay in a yard with other dogs in her pack once she's bonded when her person is gone, but she will go over a 6-foot fence and be waiting on the front porch if she's left alone or in a kennel situation.
NO CATS.
