McCoy is a very large, very friendly, and very handsome black & tan boy, around 18-24 months old. He's very thin at 85 pounds, he should fill out to close to 100 pounds when mature. He's pretty calm for his age, but he's still very much a big, playful puppy. He was an unclaimed stray with a load of birdshot in him.
McCoy can be a little unsure when confronted with new experiences, like getting into a truck or climbing stairs but he adapts quickly. He's a little reactive to strange dogs in public settings, but calms down quickly.
He's housebroken, but still needs work on his house manners. He's quick to learn. He's good with people of all sizes, although he can be overwhelming for smaller children. He gets along well with other playful dogs he knows and he loves to play fetch with his ball. Unknown how he is with cats.
McCoy will need an owner who is experienced with very large young male German Shepherds, and who is committed to providing leadership and obedience training, as well as continuing his socialization with other dogs and new experiences.
