GarthGarth Head

Garth and his littermates (Brad & Reba) were surrendered at the Stanislaus County Animal Shelter the week before Christmas. We guessed they were between 6 and 8 week old German Shepherd mixes that were born November 2014.

Fluffy little Garth is full of cuteness and personality. He is very charming ... and he knows it! Garth earned his name when he belted out the cutest "woo woo" yoddle when he heard a squeaky toy for the first time.

He likes pouncing on the big dogs, playing rough and tumble with his 2 siblings, and getting belly rubs from his foster family. He does not seem to be an obvious alpha personality, but neither is he a submissive type. Garth is an easy-going fellow that falls nicely in between.

Garth is in the process of being potty trained and will need continued structure with his sleep, eat, and free time to ensure continued success. Like all puppies under 6 months, he will need continued socializing with other dogs and should not be left alone for more that a couple hours at a time.

This is a Level 2 Dog
