GalindaGalinda Head

Glinda is a two year old female with a medium length shiny black coat. She was an unclaimed stray from a Sacramento area shelter, so nothing is known of her background. It appears she previously had a litter of puppies.

Currently Glinda is living with two other German Shepherds in her foster home and several cats. She ignores the cats as long as they leave her alone. The younger of the two dogs is her constant playmate and they love to rough house during play. So far, Glinda appears to be housebroken and goes into a crate easily. Glinda can be reactive toward other small dogs, so care and proper introductions must be taken if considering her in a home with a small dog. She knows a few basic commands but could benefit from further training and socialization.

Glinda is very hesitant about getting into a car and going to the vet's office. With coaxing, she does fine. Continued exposure to both, without negative consequences, will help her accept situations that she is currently uncertain about. More will be posted as we get to know Glinda better.

Small critters are unknown.
