Gage

Gage is a 5-6 year old handsome sable male weighing in at about 85 lbs.

He LOVES people! A leaner and affectionate, so far Gage has made friends with everyone he encounters. He has good temperament and great all around correct GSD character. Gage has a good basis of obedience work with very nice leash manners. He will alarm bark and may bark if left outside unattended for extended periods of time, this has not been a problem in his foster home.

Gage has behaved himself when left loose in the house, sleeping on his dog bed, and is also good when crated. He is an easy companion to have around with good response to handler direction. Gage is very personable, takes corrections well, and would benefit from a controlled training class environment for more dog-socialization.

Gage is somewhat dog reactive, although it's manageable. He loves the ladies, but he is NOT good with other male dogs. Gage has HIGH prey drive, so no small animals, cats, rabbits, furry critters, etc.! He respects 6 foot solid fencing, is good with grooming, has great house manners, and rides well in the car.
